Assessment

The programme is assessed on the basis of course work, there are no exams. Course assessment relates to the learning outcomes and is made up of opportunities for:

  • formative assessment to provide you with feedback about your progress through the course and
  • summative assessment which is used to measure your progress through graded work

Summative assessment for each of the courses will be approximately 3000 words in total and combined with formative assessments, it may incorporate one or more of the following:

  • Essay style analysis or commentary
  • Scenario analysis
  • Critical/Significant incident analysis
  • Essay
  • Project plan
  • Reflective practice accounts
  • Individual presentations
  • Multiple Choice Questions
  • Other relevant assessments
