Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and The University of Edinburgh in partnership
The University of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh have entered into a historic strategic partnership to offer select postgraduate programmes by online distance learning; building on the successful launch of the partnership MSc in Surgical Science launched in 2007 and drawing on collective strengths in academic and professional excellence.
Both institutions have a long and prestigious history of providing education in the health sector and continue to be leaders and innovators in this area.
The College has successfully delivered international online postgraduate education in Health Informatics since 2000 and Health Information Governance since 2006.
The College of Medicine and Veterinary Science offers a number of health related online programmes and has a strong Learning Technology Services group and interdisciplinary e-health research group.
The combination of the two organisations provides strong academic and professional networks from each partner and combined technical experience in delivering programmes electronically.
We are delighted to be offering new online distance learning programmes in Health Informatics and Health Information Governance.
