FACULTY OF HEALTH INFORMATICS COURSES & ONLINE LEARNING

Since it was established in 1998, The Faculty of Health Informatics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has successfully delivered a range of international health related online programmes both independently and in partnership with some of the UK’s leading Universities.  Our student focused flexible approach combined with our use of the latest eLearning technology provides the perfect framework for underpinning an enhanced online student experience and provides students with the opportunity to affiliate with one of the world’s oldest medical professional institutions.

Since the Faculty’s inception change and innovation have been the one constant, ensuring that the Faculty has stayed at the forefront of healthcare eLearning delivery. In 2010 The Faculty was incorporated into The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s new eLearning group which specialises in delivering an array of programmes for surgeons and other health care professionals and comes under the remit of the newly formed Professional Activities Department.
